For past lounge renovations, American Airlines specified custom millwork and realized they need to find a product to establish a consistent design language across all of its locations. For the Philadelphia Airport lounge, MCM Acoustical collaborated with the design team to develop a system that could be replicated in future projects. The result featured an open-cell solid baffle ceiling and a grille panel with batten ceiling to define key areas within the lounge, along with a freestanding array of vertical baffles that visually separate the spaces.
