The Monarch Market food hall, designed by Eimer Architecture, included microperforated panels in White Oak veneer finish that were intended to be shaped as triangles. Given the additional expense to formulate the triangles [and the installation challenge], which the budget did not allow for, MCM Acoustical creatively proposed to create rectangular panels with false grooves to create the illusion of triangles. This solution allowed MCM Acoustical to meet both the designer’s intent and the client’s budget.
